Stroke Awareness

Register with Marilyn by May 30.

This year the focus will be on stroke, how to recognize a stroke, and what's new in treatment, rehab and prevention. We will also have a nutrition component that will emphasize healthy eating in the Mediterranean/DASH Diet style. Mary Pinzon, RN, CPE, M.Ed., Stroke Education Nurse at James R. Daniel Stroke Center of Oklahoma at INTEGRIS and Jessica Green, RD and parishioner will do the presentations. We will serve a Healthy Heart lunch and snacks. We will also have a couple of reflection periods, so it will be a tight schedule.
