Great Hall

JOIN US for a free discussion sponsored by the Parish Nursing Ministry on Advance Health Care Directive, including the Catholic perspective, on Sunday August 5th, 2018, from 2:00-3:30 in the Great Hall led by Deacon George Butterfield.  If you are older than 18, you need to make your wishes known to your family and loved ones.  This is an opportunity to learn why, how to do it and how to talk about your decisions to your loved ones. You will also learn about Oklahoma laws affecting the Advance directive decisions. Father Ray will be available to assist answering questions. Oklahoma Advance Directives forms, Health Directives for Dementia, POLST forms and Five Last Wishes will be available.

Advance directives are written instructions regarding your medical care preferences. Your family and doctors consult advance directives if a patient is unable to make his own health care decisions. Having written instructions can help reduce confusion or disagreement.
