Our Commitment: The Finance Board provides the Pastor and Pastoral Council with counsel and advice in regard to the Parish's financial condition and matters relating thereto. The Finance Board shall provide oversight of the financial management of the Parish.
What We Do: Major responsibilities of the Finance Board shall include review and approval of the Parish and School's annual budget; monthly financial statements; major expenditure requests as defined in internal procedures; and written financial internal controls and procedures for the temporal needs of the Parish.
Time & Training Required: Attendance at monthly board meetings typically lasting 2-3 hours on average.
Helpful Attributes: Those who have practical business experience related to budgeting, ability to be a good listener with a collaborative nature, and attention to detail. Legal or human resources experience is a plus. Board members are appointed by the Pastor.

FY 2017 Financial Audit Results
Recently the Finance Board engaged the services of Peters and Chandler to complete a financial audit of both the Parish and School for fiscal year 2017.
Peters and Chandler have audited the accompanying financial statements of financial position of St. John's, which comprise the statements of assets, liabilities and net assets - modified cash basis as of June 30, 2017 and 2016, and the related statements of revenue, expenses, and other changes in net assets - modified cash bases for the year then ended, and the related notes to the financial statement.
